How it works
Two weeks, from the first call to live
Fourteen days is not a sales figure, it is how long the work takes. Here is where each of them goes, and the three short moments where we need something from you.
The two weeks, day by day
- Day 1
We talk.
Thirty minutes. What you do, who you serve, what people usually ask you, what you’d rather never do again.
It is a conversation, not an interview. Most of it is you describing the job you do every day, which is the part you already know better than anyone. We take the notes.
What we need from you: Half an hour on the phone.
- Days 2–4
We do the homework.
We look at what people are actually typing into Google to find businesses like yours, and what your competitors are doing about it. This shapes the whole site.
This is the part that decides which pages exist at all. If people in your area search for a service you offer but never think to name it the way you name it, we find that out now rather than after launch.
What we need from you: Nothing. Send photos if you have them.
- Days 5–9
We build it.
Writing, design, and the SEO groundwork all at once. You get a link partway through so nothing is a surprise.
The writing and the structure happen together, because they are the same job. You will get a link while it is still half-built — that is deliberate. It is much easier to say “that is not how I would put it” early.
What we need from you: A look at the link when it arrives.
- Day 10
You look it over.
You tell us what’s wrong. Five full rounds of changes are included — most sites need one.
Say as much as you can in one go, and be blunt — wrong tone, wrong photo, a service missing, a phrase you would never use. Most sites are right after one pass, which is why it is worth saying all of it now. But you are not down to a single chance: five full rounds are included, so nothing has to be let through because you ran out of them. The fortnight assumes one round. Use more and the launch date moves out by however long they take — the rounds are included, the calendar simply follows them.
What we need from you: Your notes, all in one go.
- Days 11–14
Changes and launch.
We fix it, run the final checks, connect your domain, and put it live. Then we tell Google it exists.
The final checks are the boring, important ones: every link works, it reads properly on a phone, the form arrives in your inbox, the certificate is valid. Then we submit the site to Google so it starts getting indexed rather than waiting to be found.
What we need from you: Nothing. We will tell you when it is live.
Being honest about it
What actually slows this down
Waiting on you. Not to be rude about it — it is simply the only part of the two weeks we cannot do ourselves.
Photos of your work, the list of areas you cover, the name of the insurance you accept, whether you still offer the thing your old site says you offer. None of it takes long, but the build stops until it arrives.
If you can put your photos somewhere we can reach them before day one, the whole thing tends to land early.
What happens after launch
- Send us edits whenever you like — small text and photo changes are unlimited
- We keep the software, certificate and backups current
- We watch that it stays up
- You get a monthly check on how you’re ranking
- We tell you before the domain or anything else expires
That is what the $24.99 a month is for. There is no separate maintenance bill.
Day one starts with a phone call
Tell us what you do and we’ll tell you what we’d build. $500 to build, $24.99 a month after that.
